5 wedding gifts that come from the heart – DIY ideas

A wedding is a very special moment. Two people say "Yes" to each other, and we get to experience this day – celebrate together, laugh together, rejoice together. • a Magnetboard of your choice
• fresh or dried flowers & eucalyptus
• Postcard of your choice
• our wooden magnets

How to: Lay eucalyptus branches and blossoms loosely on the magnet board. Simply fix them with our wooden magnets – this way they stay in place. Choose one or two cards from our shop and also attach them with the pretty magnets. Optional: Add a small voucher or a personal note – maybe a handwritten wish for time together as a couple?

Practical: The bridal couple can later use the magnet board as a memory board – perhaps for wedding photos or notes in everyday life.

2. Metal wreath with money butterflies & lots of heart

So light, so delicate, so romantic – this metal wreath is a real eye-catcher and makes money gifts appear very gentle. You need:

• Metal wreath from Eulenschnitt
• Eucalyptus & blossoms (e.g. lisianthus or dried flowers)
• Banknotes
• Thread or nylon string
• Metal pendant for the center
• some wire & jute string

Step-by-step: Wrap eucalyptus and flowers with wire at the upper part of the ring. Fold banknotes into small butterflies or bows. Simply fold a note like an accordion and tie it in the middle. Attach the money butterflies with transparent thread at various points – they should appear floating. Hang a small heart in the middle of the ring – as a small sign of love.

3. The surprise cooler bag – for a picnic for two

Love is inside here – and lots of it! This idea is ideal for everyone who wants to give a "all-around happy package." You need:

• one or two beautiful wine glasses or mugs
• a good bottle of wine or juice
• snacks, flowers, a card – or whatever else you can think of

How to: Fill the bag with small surprises: something to drink, nibble on, enjoy. Add a loving card with personal words. Decorate with blossoms or cloth napkins – this makes everything appear even more loving.

Tip: Write on a tag outside: "For your first evening as a married couple" or a few personal and loving words.

4. Card holder with mini storage jar – the small token

Sometimes not much is needed. This minimalist gift idea is especially loving if you want to give the couple a small gesture – simply perfect if you are invited to the registry office. You need:

• our card holder with heart
• a pretty card (e.g. with loving words)
• a mini storage jar with wooden lid
• a small flower & possibly some money

How to: Write the card lovingly and put it in the card holder. Fold a banknote into a small roll or fan and put it together with a flower into the jar. Put the lid on, tie a ribbon around it – your personal wedding greeting is ready.

Tip: You can also fill the jar with sweets, tealights, or small messages – whatever you like.

5. Money gift in a storage jar – simple & beautiful

Classic money gifts are a thing of the past! With one of our large storage jars and a few loving details, a few bills become a wonderful surprise. You need:

• a large storage jar with heart
• banknotes
• eucalyptus, blossoms, possibly confetti or paper hearts
• possibly a small tag with "For you"

Step-by-step: Fold the banknotes into fans or little hearts. Put them loosely into the jar together with eucalyptus and blossoms. Optional: Write a small message and tie it to the outside of the jar. Put the lid on – and your personal wedding jar is ready.
